Privacy

Trivix (CNPJ 61.105.290/0001-22) is the controller of the data processed by PepCensus. We follow Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Law 13.709/2018) and give the same rights to everyone, wherever you live.

Data we collect

  • Email, to create your account, send your access code and send subscription notices.
  • Name and CPF, only if you pay by Pix in Brazil: Pix Automático requires identifying the payer.
  • Payment data: your card is entered on Stripe's page and never passes through us; for Pix, we receive the bank's confirmation.
  • Your questions and answers in Ask PepCensus, saved in your account so you can see them again in My searches. You can delete any of them, and a deleted search is erased right away.
  • Usage: how many questions and plates you opened per day, for the usage limits and to prevent bulk copying.
  • Where you came from: your country (from the network) and, if you arrived through one of our ads, the campaign name carried in the page address. It is kept with your account so we know which ads bring subscribers.
  • Cookies: one to keep you signed in, one to remember your language and one to remember your choice in the cookie notice. The ad measurement cookies (_fbp and _fbc) only exist if you accept.

Ad measurement, only with your consent

If you accept in the cookie notice, we count visits to the sales pages (home, introduction, subscribe and sign in), your sign-up and your first payment, and send these events to Meta (Facebook and Instagram) through the Conversions API, to measure and improve our ads. Each event carries the sales page address, your country, IP address, browser, the identifiers in the _fbp and _fbc cookies and, for the sign-up and the payment, your email and account number scrambled (SHA-256 hash) and the amount paid. We never send what you read or ask in the archive, nor any compound name, and Meta's script is not loaded on the site. To measure the first payment, the IP, browser and those identifiers are kept with your account. Meta uses this data under its own terms and privacy policy. You can change your choice at any time under Cookies, at the bottom of the pages; if you decline, the measurement cookies and the stored identifiers are deleted.

Why we use it

To provide the service you subscribed to and charge for it (performance of contract), to meet legal and tax obligations, to protect the content and your account against fraud and to know where subscribers come from (legitimate interest), and to measure our ads on Meta (consent, which you can withdraw at any time).

Who we share it with

Only with the providers that make the service work: hosting (Cloudflare), email delivery (Resend), payments (Stripe and Banco Inter), and the artificial intelligence provider that writes the Ask PepCensus answers, which receives the question text and the census material, never your name or email. If you accept ad measurement, also Meta, as described above. Some of these providers process data outside Brazil, with the safeguards the law requires. We don't sell data.

How long we keep it

While your account exists. Payment records are kept for the period required by tax law. If you ask us to delete your account, we erase the rest within 30 days. Your cookie notice choice lasts 6 months, and the _fbp and _fbc cookies 90 days.
